The 8 Shifts of Agile Organizations

Agile is built on the value of responding to change, implying that there is no "steady state" for an Agile organization. The most successful organizations undergo several shifts away from what worked well in traditional, plan-driven organizations. These shifts enable organizations to thrive in complex, unpredictable situations. We shared the eight shifts we have observed in every Agile organization we've worked with or studied, and some ideas about how to help nudge your organization towards these shifts for greater agility.

Peter co-created the Certified Agile Leadership learning objectives and CAL I and II program structure with Pete Behrens, Angela Johnson, and Scrum Alliance in 2016, and is a founding member of the CAL Educator peer review team.
