Conditions are changing: the context, the outcomes, the requirements, the competition, the regulation … fewer and fewer things are reliable in organizations. To stay safe and feel comfortable doing good work, there's one thing we rely on: our relationships. That's why relationships have become so crucial! The way people commonly relate at work is often not enough. We keep our professional distance, refrain from disclosing much about ourselves, and keep empathy and intimacy to a minimum.
