What Scrum Is Not (Advanced)

Get to know how some scrum practices build collective intelligence – and when they may not work, too
Duration: 2 hours 0 minutes
Open Learning

Scrum is a lightweight framework, as defined in the Scrum Guide. This means we all must figure out how our practices can work within the framework. How can we know whether these generally accepted practices help or hurt the team? Follow along with Dhaval Panchal, (CEC®, CST®) and founder of Evolve Agility, as he guides you through assessing your scrum implementation and building the collective intelligence of your team.

The course is aligned with the following Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO®) learning objectives:

  • 1.10 list at least three development practices that could help their Scrum Team deliver a high-quality Increment and reduce technical debt each Sprint.
  • 3.1 use one technique to connect developers directly to customers and users.
  • 2.1 discuss a real-world example of how product strategy is operationalized and evolves over time in an agile organization.
