An Open Letter to Our Community

Dear Community,

I am pleased to announce that we have reached a resolution in our business dispute with Scrum Inc. While the exact details of the settlement will not be disclosed publicly, a summary can be found in the statement below, which is also posted on the Scrum Inc. website.

The statement from Scrum Inc. (and acknowledged by me) is self-explanatory. All I want to add is this: Lawsuits are not our business. Connecting people to fire-igniting agile training, best-in-class coaching, and a vibrant, nurturing community is our business. 

That being said, as a for-impact, not-for-profit, trade organization, we have an obligation to all of our members to protect the Scrum Alliance brand, mission, and intellectual property (for example, CSM®). Rest assured that we take that obligation seriously. 

As always, our vision is to be a trusted ally for our members as together we create a world of work that is joyful, prosperous and sustainable.
