The Global Scrum Gathering Vancouver Program Is Here

Scrum Alliance

The program for Global Scrum Gathering® Vancouver, May 3–6, 2026, has officially launched, and it's built for the realities professionals are facing right now.

Explore the program

With 40 sessions led by 50 speakers from around the world, the Vancouver program brings together perspectives from North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and beyond. The result is a high-density learning experience shaped by seasoned practitioners working in real organizations, not just theory.

Sessions span themes such as AI and technology, leadership, continuous improvement, and organizational design. Formats include lightning talks, lectures, and hands-on workshops designed to help attendees put new ideas into practice quickly.

To get a closer look at what makes this year's program special, we spoke with Charlotte Koch, a member of the Program Advisory Team that helped shape the program.

An interview with Program Advisory Team member Charlotte Koch

Why is this program especially important for professionals right now?
"Professionals are dealing with real, live problems, not abstract theory. This program is grounded in what's happening right now across the industry, combining current trends with practical insight from people working in different contexts and geographies. It helps attendees sense-check their thinking, broaden their perspective, and leave better equipped for the reality they're facing at work."

What makes the Vancouver program stand out from other agile or professional conferences?
"The Vancouver program has been designed very intentionally, not just in terms of content, but in how people experience it. There's a deliberate balance of formal sessions, informal spaces, and opportunities for real connection. It's immersive, practical, and community-driven, so learning doesn't stop when a session ends."

What do you hope attendees walk away thinking or feeling?
"I hope attendees leave with renewed energy and confidence in their work, along with fresh ways of thinking about agile and scrum in a world that's constantly changing. Rather than rigid answers, they walk away with perspectives that help them adapt, experiment, and apply ideas in ways that fit their real lives."

Do you see any themes or patterns in the sessions?
"Yes, very clearly. The sessions have been intentionally grouped around strong themes, with different perspectives, case studies, and levels of depth within each. The topics aren't repetitive, but they reinforce each other, allowing attendees to explore the same ideas from multiple angles."

If you were telling a colleague why they should attend, what would you say?
"The program is deliberately diverse, with strong thematic tracks that span foundational thinking through to advanced, real-world application. You'll hear new voices, learn from lived case studies, and engage with ideas you can immediately take back into your organization, while building meaningful connections with people facing similar challenges."

What does it mean to you to be part of the Program Advisory Team?
"Being part of the Program Advisory Team is a real honour and responsibility. We take the quality of the content seriously, ensuring the program serves a global audience across experience levels, while maintaining a high bar for speakers and sessions. It's deeply rewarding to contribute to something that genuinely helps people learn, reflect, and grow."

A program built for today's challenges

The Global Scrum Gathering isn't just for people in agile roles.
